We attended the Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show for the first time in 2009. We are a small family owned business and were overwhelmed by the response. We sold 25 cases of our Huntley’s Seafood Dippin’ Sauce and got so many leads that we now have a large customer base from outside the DC region. As a result of the show, we created a website so people can now order on-line and we have been picked-up by two restaurants that now use our sauce in many of their recipes. Wow!!! What a great experience!

We are BR Blends – the mid-Atlantic distributors of Gourmet Blends, importers of 25 year old barrel-aged balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy.  We’ve done a wide range of events that run the gamut of food, wine, craft, flower and home shows – large and small.  The Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show is the best, most professionally run event we’ve ever done.  Their management staff made themselves available and responsive from beginning to end.  No question was too small to get a fast answer.  The management promised great attendance and delivered without exaggeration.  Load-in and load-out was smooth and their staff would circulate throughout the show to make sure everything was running smoothly. The clientele came to see their favorite chefs and were then ready to taste and purchase our product.  We immediately signed a contract for the 2010 show and are looking forward to another successful event.
